The Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians Inc. (CAPT) is the national voluntary association providing leadership to and supporting the professional development of pharmacy technicians in the pursuit of providing optimal pharmaceutical services in collaboration with pharmacists.

CAPT promotes the professionalism of Pharmacy Technicians throughout the industry by means of communication and strategic alliances with other pharmacy stakeholders.  

CAPT unites and supports Pharmacy Technicians through various forms of open communication and promotion of continuous education and development.

CAPT  promotes  the recognition of Pharmacy Technicians as vital components in the delivery of health care.

CAPT aims to:

• Increase awareness of Pharmacy Technicians’ value and role throughout the industry
  
  
• Enhance Pharmacy Technicians' professionalism through communication, continuing education, and networking
  
  
• Increase credibility through involvement with other professional organisations in the field
  
  
• Build and maintain alliances with industry and other related members of health care.
