What do you mean PDC?
PDC stands for Professional Development Conference.

What is it?
PDC is the National Education Conference for Pharmacy Technicians. It's an opportunity to learn new techniques, new ideas, make new friends and find out about the different scopes of practice from various areas across the country and sometimes from around the world. Oh yeah, and maybe have a little fun in the process.

Why should I attend?
As professionals, it is important that we stay on top of the latest trends, techniques that affect our practice and position within the healthcare profession.

Well, I read the pharmacy journals.
Journals are a great tool for conveying knowledge, but they just don't compare to the hands on interactivity of a small classroom of like minded professionals.

Okay, tell me more.
CAPT has been  putting together technician educational events for 20 years. In 2003, we hosted the first Professional Development Conference for Pharmacy Technicians. As we head into the 9th National Conference we are branching out, expanding our mandate, and exploring our limitless horizons. So watch this site for more information on as it becomes available.
